Why are Isabella Awnings so more expensive that the other leading makes?

We have a Bradcott Classic awning at the moment but have been looking at the Isabella.

What is the difference?

When you see an Isabella awning erected they always look as though they have been put up by a professional(not amateurs like us) I would love to know why they are so expensive and if they are easier to erect than others.

the cloth they use and the stitching is far superior to other awning manufactures. doped dyed isocryl is used by isabella, acrylic is used by most of the others as well as polyester.you get what you pay for so they say,in my honest opinion dorema are as good as anything for the money.if you can afford an isabella then go for it,they are the best.

Another good clue is the qulaity of the zips - after all especially the one used as main door gets a lot of zipping, Also when on site ask a few proud owners how old their awnings are. Consider also the ease of attachment to the van - Isabella were first with 'fix-ons' in the days wehn we screwed brackets to the van sides...also what are the poles made of - steel, alu or ixl/carbon - try lifting a bag of each if you are unsure!

I have just purchased a new 2005 Bradcot Classic Awning. The box that contains the Fibre poles does not seem to contain any carry bag for these, is there such a thing that can be purchased seperately? The awning itself has its own bag.

We have an Isabella Ambassador Crown awning. It was more expensive than some others but is such good quality the extra was worth it. (We got a good discount though from our nearest dealer.) One thing that might be different, and I could be wrong, is the storm facility. Extra guys one third up on each wall.

I asked our dealer what the differences were between the different makes and he said ventura suncamp etc were like owning a fiesta, a bradcot was like owning a merc or a BMW and the Isabella was like owning a rolls royce or a bentley!quite graphically put i thought!

We went with the Bradcot active with alloy poles and I think it is superb, and was not prepared to spend over
