Ive posted elsewhere on this forum but my post didn't show, i think there is a real glitch with these forums

We are thinking of getting a porch awning and are quite taken with the Isabella Magnum, it is now called the Magnum Concept due to a new material
Has anyone purchased the Concept version yet? and can you let me know your thoughts. Also any general comments on the Magnum

Thanks very much

Firstly regarding the postings appearing, it takes about 5 minutes from submitting the post to it appearing on the forum, so please be patient and dont think it has been lost in cyber space, it is just taking its time.
It is something to do with refresh rates (whatever they are).

As for Isabella products they have a very good reputation for quality and longevity, so I would imagine you would be satisfied if you get one.
Hopefully someone who already has one can give you more information.

Hi Bev,
We have a 2010 Isabella Magnum and are very pleased with it. The carbon fibre poles are light and very strong. The awning is a really great fit and we particularly like the system that holds the pads to the caravan side. It is very easy to erect and get the correct tension for a neat fit. Overall a very handsome porch awning, which is large enough for most needs. No regrets at all.

I'll give up posting as there is obviously a problem

Bev
Perhaps you forgot to install the bypass modulator valve gateway when programming your PC. Hence your difficulties

Hi OldSalt
Is your Magnum the Concept version? I think it is grey/charcoal in colour. If so how do you find the new material, it's supposed to be easier to keep clean which is always helpful

Hi Bev,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you, had to do my duty to the taxman!!!! No my Magnum is not the new Concept one I'm afraid, to be honest I didn't know there was one. Anyway if its as good as last year, then I would say get one. However you will need to measure to be sure it clears the windows.

We have a four year old Magnum and decided to sell the full size awning as the Magnum was easier to pitch and had enough room for us even when four-up. Quality is superb and one advantage of Isabella products is that spare parts can be obtained almost anywhere, and I believe that the company will repair awnings at a reasonable price too.
