Hi All,

When I purchased my 975 Opus 250 it came with blinds but all the pictures I see of this van has honey curtains, could someone supply me with a link to where I could find some of these as I am having real trouble in tracking down curtains for the Opus. I only ask as the blinds are to much hassle to put up everytime we move.

Many Thanks,

Ian

Ian,

The dot honey curtains were supplied as standard with the Opus 250.

Did you lose yours or were they not there at purchase?

Contact http://www.isabella.net/uk/ to find out availability, I have found then to be very helpful.

I think you may be unlucky. I bought an Opus 300 from the Isabella stand at the NEC exibition last year. The main reason I didn't go for the Opus 250 was the blinds. They looked nice but seemed so inpractical. The people on the stand told me at the time that the blinds weren't particularly successful and that once the current production stock had gone they would change to curtains for the 250. They also confirmed at the time that curtains couldn't be fitted in lieu of blinds because of the track, hangers, etc.

The first few times I had my awning up last year other caravanners, who had the 250 came looking to see what the difference was and whether they could fit curtains to theirs. They all came to the same conclusion. No they couldn't.

If you bought it new it seems you may have been sold the 2008 model.

Hi All,

Jim I think you are right I bought my Opus 250 at the end of 2007 so it was the 2008 model, and yes it only came with blinds which are a waste of time and way to messy to set up and do not respond as you would like them to, I have since been into my local camping shop which has a opus 250 set up with the curtain rail and it seems like I could fit the curtains on, but I will double check this after seeing your posts here, please could you still help me with links to suitable curtains in the mean time.

Thanks,

Ian

Hello Ian,

We bought an Opus back in late 2006 at the Earls Court show and it was delivered in February 2007. Like you I discovered pretty soon that although the blinds looked terrific, life is too short to spend two hours every time you pitch just putting up blinds. We went on to the Isabella stand at the NEC in February 2008 and asked if there was a way of converting the awning to curtains and they replied that they had a scheme whereby they would collect the awning from us, convert it to curtain rails, supply the curtains and return it back for a fixed price of
