Hi,
We have 2 Isabella windbreaks, and they have stood up to plenty of wind and bad weather in the past and still look like new, I put them together by putting a cable tie around a pole on the end of each one to keep them together, with the guy ropes attatched they never move far.
They are as good as the awnings, at Easter a couple of people lost cheap and cheerful porch awnings on the rally site we were on, our Isabella was fine with 3 inches of snow on it and with the high winds we had, the caravan next door to us had had exactly the same Isabella Magnum as ours on it but I have never seen an awning put up so badly, there was no tension on any of the poles and the fabric blew about like a sale, but still it was fine, the cheap one accross was ripped and had broken poles causing damage to the side of the caravan, for year round use I would always go for Isabella although the cheaper stuff is fine in good weather, but in the UK it can change quickly.
