Jockey Wheel Handle sheared

Hi all just wanted to show you what happened on a BPW chassis jockey wheel handle , there was about 8 threads left in . Unlike an Alko you cannot easily remove the jockey wheel bracket - so I had to drill it out which worked out ok - used easy outs and the debris easily removed - I think I had bottomed the jockey handle in the housing so I now have put a few washers on my new handle - just for reference - if this snaps and your away it will be a big problem so make sure yours is ok

Could be a real problem on site and looks like a bad design I have had an ALKO one go on site but that was an easy fix.
