We have a Coachman 460/2 2001 and every now and again especialy driving over bumps the wheel hits the road surface. The nose weight is 75 klg and the Witter bracket is also 75 klg max'and i make sure it is balanced out as near as possible.I have also cut out a piece of the fairing to take the wheel up as far as possible. My thoughts have been to get smaller wheel but i expect that that will give me other problems, the other is to have extra springs in the suspension but when i asked Skoda they would not comment. The outfit when loaded seems to be level.Any further ideas ?.

For a start you could check the towball height with the caravan hitched up. It should be between 350 and 420mm measured from the ground to the centre of the towball.

I guess the wheel can't be removed completely for travelling? I have a Bailey Ranger and the jockey wheel clamp can be wound fully open to remove the wheel.
