recently i started doing an equipment check on my privately bought caravan. the seller assured me everything was in order and working as should be.

so, i get to the toilet/shower room and dont see the hose for the shower under the sink unit cabinets, then i looked in the cubby holes all over the van. no sign of this extension.

i was a wee bit miffed at this guy saying everything was in order when it wasn't, and i thought of paying him a visit.

lo and behold, the wee yin ( 6 year old) was mucking around the other day and shouted on me to come and see what she found.

oops, the actual tap unit pulls up from the basin and extends to give you the shower facility, good find, i would have looked a wee bit daft if i had confronted this guy demanding the shower hose. wonder what else i might find 🙂
 
Brilliant story Highlander! I feel better now. Both my children 7 years and 4 years are often a step ahead of me. I will turn a toy or a gadget around and "How does this work again?!?!` and they will take it off me and show me....
 
How very similar to what happened to me last year.whilst in the storage compound working on my van,a never ending job.

My cousin arrives with his new van in tow,asked if he had sold his old one yet,as it was still in the compound,he said no.

He had someone veiwing it nextday,and the only thing wrong with it was that the shower head was missing.So I asksto have a look and there it is,a combined basin/shower head,just waiting to be pulledout and user.So unbeleivable as he has had this van about 3years.

Good one Highlander,the same thing happened to me when i bought the Elddis 2 years ago.The youngfella in the dealers went over everything with us,i gets her home an can i find the shower.Iput the hand on the tap saying how can i wash with that as the tap pulled out of the sink.just as i was saying til the missus "get me yer mans number"an him a sound bloke at the end of the day.

You have a six year old who needs to be able to get one over on her Dad many more times in the future ....... Sell the Bike!
