Good Morning Forumites. As I have seen so many posts regarding missing instructions and repair kits for the awnings I have been in touch with Kampa and explained the problems on the forum. I was told that the Forums are monitored by them to assist where needed , Sadly Ive seen no evidence of this so I may go back to them again .

Well done that man.

Still not sure if repair kits are meant to be included, but one would certainly expect instructions in the bag. I know its not rocker science, but having seen a copy of the instructions, I know enough now not to open the second skin whilst the awning is inflated. Surely a point on its own to make sure a piece of paper is included. Bad mark there for Kampa.

For what the awnings cost, I do think it a little penny pinching not to inlude a repair kit. If I really have an issue its the decision not to include a wheel arch cover. As the skirt/draight excluder is black, these things arent overly common in that colour.

Awaiting Kampas response with interest.

Ok Everybody with concerns about your Kampa awnings .I have been back to them and it would appear they are not signed up with Practical Caravan to monitor post regarding Kampa .I have been asked by them to send them an email with any issues you may . Your contact will be max@kampa.co.uk. I have to say this is the first Guy I dealt with and was very helpful.I have mentioned the lack of booklet but I have to say the instruction are no better than are available on the internet .I have also mentioned the lack of repair kit . I hope this will be of some help to you .
Regards SIr Roger. Nearly forgot.Anybody wanted the printed info will have to supply name and address to send to.

Good stuff Roger. At least one of the Kampa crew is on the ball.

And from Kevin

Hi Ian

Sorry to hear your instructions and repair kit are missing, I will post these out to you on Tuesday.

You are not the first person to ask for a black wheel cover and thankfully our buying and design team have decided to make and sell one from next year.

Kind Regards

Kevin Prestoe
