Kampa Rally 260

Hi...i've been looking at these for a little while now as i'd like a lightweight awning which is also pretty sturdy...read quite a lot of good reviews but as always, there's an odd bad one..wondered if anybody had any thoughts?

Thanks,

Dave.

Hi Dave , we bought the Kampa 390 a year ago , I cannot fault it in anyway Probably the only awning you will gat it back into the bag it came .

IF i say IF you go caravan this remember to get the optional extra polls that hold the awning to the side of the van

Curiosity says where are you ?

We bought the 260 version plus the optional upright poles that hold the sides to the caravan. Used it on all our trips this year while deciding which full awning to get. As a result we've decided not to get a full awning at all - the porch is roomy enough for two adults plus a couple of grandchildren to eat, play and store wet stuff.

Seems well-made and strong enough for our usage. Only problem is slight ponding on the part of the roof closest to the caravan where the slope is least - maybe due to clumsy pitching!

Check that the vertical bits fit between windows and doors. A 2009 Bailey Burgundy is just OK.
