Kampa Rally or Sunncamp Encore

Hi, we are looking to buy a new porch awning for the 2011 season and I think we have narrowed it down to 2, the Kampa and the Sunncamp Encore. If anyone has one of these awnings we would be delighted if you would share your comments, good or bad, with us.

Hi Bradies

We recently got the Kampa Rally 390, only put it up once so far. We got the optional upright poles & storm tie down kit. It rained & was quite windy but the awning faired quite well. The rain did puddle on the roof but there are monsoon poles available which should stop this. We did also find some of the seams leaking a bit which apparently can happen on new awnings until they've been rained on. On a more positive note it was very easy to put up and there was lots of headroom, some porches slope quite severely losing height. Also we were on a sloping pitch and it still fitted nicely with the adjustable front legs.

We've got a Kampa Rally 260.
On the plus side - Good quality, nice fit, easy to put up.

On the minus side - basic with extras all at additional cost ( Poles, storm straps, etc. ), not as light and airy as I would have liked ( blue model is very dark coloured material - a bit more use of the grey fabric would be an improvement ).

weve had the The Kampa Rallye for two years now and have no problems ,its a very spacious porch awning and idael for our needs as a family of three
