has anybody been here thinking of going there in June with Camping Cheques,its 500 miles from Calais bit far for one day so also looking for overnight about 350 miles down so get there around lunchtime ish to get awning up and set up

I have used this site several times. It is excellent. Run by very friendly English couple. Also an excellent restaurant on site.
 
I forgot to add, why not try camping de la Touche e-mail booklatouche@hotmail.co.uk. This is near Tours. Another excellent site, also run by an English couple. I have just stayed there on my way home from Spain. Would certainly return again. Fresh eggs from the chickens daily, and local wines etc etc.
