Kayaking launch at Garlieston

Hello,
we are going up to Garlieston cc site next weekend for a few days.....does anyone know if you can launch a kayak from or near ish to the site, or even drive somewhere and launch close to the car. I know it's not a usual question, but I've rung the site a couple of times and they are obviously busy, and didn't have the heart to keep ringing. So if anyone knows it would be very much appreciated. We haven't been here before, so don't know.

Never tried it but there are plenty of beaches round there so it should not be a problem. If you change the booking to New England Bay you will find a launch area there though.
