Kia Carens Has any one towed with one of these i am considering buying one ,They have a good weight for towing and ample power according to the spec sheet .

the older 2,0 diesel carens has problems with the gearbox,as has the hyundai trajet which has the same gearbox fitted

My FIL (RIP) towed his Bailey Pageant Monarch for years with his 2.0 CRDI Carens. It never missed a beat. The only problem was the gearlinkage cable broke on a Scottish trip. Cost him £160.00 at Kelso for a replacement.
Against Prof John's advice we fitted some Grayston spring assistors at the rear end just to beef it up. They worked very well. Otherwise it proved a very reliable tug and reasonably economic.

Still have a good bit of warrenty remaining too on that kind of age.Dont hear anything negative about them.I to fancied a new one,one reason being the warrenty period being so good.

I tow an Ace Jubilee Courier, with my 2007 CRDi , Seven seats, and 2.0ltr engine.
Tows well, no probs.
