Kia Sorento 1 crdi 2.2 Manual Front Wheel Drive

Does anyone tow with the Kia Sorento CRDi 1 - Front Wheel Drive?
I have been considering a 2010 model and was about to buy then noticed it was a two wheel drive and not 4WD.
It has a decent kerb weight of well over 1800 kg, 2500 Kg towing limit (I tow 1560 Kg) but have always used 4WD in the past.
Does anyone out there tow with this car?

The 4wd Sorento, like the Santa Fe who's chassis it uses, and all soft-roaders are smart part-time 4wd - meaning they spend nearly all the time in 2wd, ie FWD, and only transmit power/torque to the rear when front traction is lost - there are a couple of exceptions, Subaru 4wd always sends some power/torque to the rear typically 90:00 and the Freelander II uses 4WD to start from stationary but then reverts to smart 4wd.

So it comes down to whether you you go off tarmac or not, either solo off-roading or towing onto/off from grass - more expensive sites generally have tarmac roads and a motor-mover can avoid some issues - but a wet grass CL is no joke with a FWD car.
