Hello Rod, I too do not carry water and waste any more (it's an age thing!) I use a Water Hog and into the large side screw cap I fitted a side entry valve, the modern equivalent to the old ball float valve, (available from Screwfix or other plumbing supplier around £7 ish) I obtained a spare large cap from Pyramid for this purpose. Using standard plastic adaptors I connect my hose to the valve on the Water Hog and onto the site tap. The hose I use is a Whale extension hose (Ithink it cost about £22, it's the lie flat type and for drinking water) With a little ingenuity you can do this for less than half the price of a proprietary ready made-up system. Regarding waste pipe, I carry about 10 metres which over the years has been cut into varying lengths. If I need to join these, I use 40mm plastic waste pipe connectors,. The ridged grey waste pipe pushes snugly into these and because they are not under pressure, are quite sufficient for the job. (about a pound apiece again from Screwfix or similar) Hope this is of some help. Ask again if further info needed.
Happy caravanning!
Regards
Derek

Rod, I bought a ready made kit off ebay for £20 about two years ago. As Derek says it goes in the side cap and is just a float valve. Never had chace too use it yet though.........!!!

Sounds like a bargain Rod. It makes so much difference not having to worry about the water running out whilst in the shower! It's a lot easier on the old back as well! Glad you're fixed up anyway.
Good luck!

The best valve I have found for this purpose is called Torbek and will fit the cap of a 40l aquaroll easily (but not that of the 20l).
I use ordinary garden hose - a 30m length cut to 10m and 20m and use one or both with hozelock or gardena fittings. What you may need to carry is a selection of things to convert site taps to hose connections - not all are threaded. You can buy a tap adaptor with two outlets with individual levers, such that on a tap shared between two pitches you can hook up and still leave a useable tap for your neighbour.
The only trick is - as has been said earlier - to make sure the arm of the vavle is moving in the vertical plane when the cap is screwed on tight. I have marked the rim of the cap at this position, so can line up the valve before putting it in the drum. With the torbeck, you may need to shorten the spiral arm coming from the top of the float to make it easier to fit into the drum. (Sorry, all this sound much more complicated than it actually is).
