I am at a loss to know the following -
Is it necessary to fit both in and outer brackets for the Jacking points?
At the moment I have only got the "L" shaped bracket which I assume fit on the Outside of the chassis., as shown on the adverts.

Hello, Hovis,, I have the older type of Kojack, the Hydraulic scissor jack type, which I think was used for the Twin axle type, and came with an outer and inner supports. My Present Coachman , single axle, came with White Kojack jacking points ready fitted, but only on the outside. The new type of supports are much safer than the much older ones that could fold over very easily. Maybe some one ( DD ) has got a photo of the old type.

Kojack have only done the orange triangular jack points. The ones that bend that you refer to are the original Al-ko ones. Not worth using and Imo dangerous as previous pics on here show. I'm away at the moment relying on very poor 3g.
Al-ko supplied me with a side scissor jack oem. Absolute rubbbish. You needed Arny muscles to work it. The Kojack bottle jacks were ok but the earlier ones suffered from seal failure.

Whatever you do you must fit the jacking brackets exactly as described by the supplier.
Failure to do so may result in a disaster!

I always carry a Fixed three point support. To back up the jack. . Thy can collaspe, !!,! when choising my Sante fe , I went for tne 5 seat for the space under the seats. MY tow car is that Loads of space for stuff. .. .
 
Dd I think a few threads ago my Coachman 560 Came wirh Alko /KOJACK fitted Jacking points, they were identical but white coloured. But marked Kojack. . Thankfully have never had to use them on route. .H.
 
Thanks for all the response, but I am still confused.
Looking at all the Ads' and You Tube, all differ in advice:
Fit to rear of Axle or front? I do not have enough room for Rear fit You tube shows front fit (see Mover )
Use only the new style "L" shaped brackets - see Bailey Ad'.
I think I will have to use Front fit with new style "L" Brackets supplied, and hope to Hell I never have to need it on the road!!
Last year a blow out - first in 50+ years -hence "bolting the stable door after the horse has bolted"!!

Hovis , mine are fitted to the back af the caravan, behind the wheels. The mover being infront of the wheeĺs. Sorry no photos,
