Hi Greg. I fitted Kojack lite brackets last weekend, however it was to a van that is only a year old. I see on Purple Lines, the supplier of Kojack, web site, that they are suitable for vans manufactured after 1992. Mine are fitted just to the rear of the wheels, looking on the side of the van, which sounds like the same area you were going to use. I suggest you have a word with Purple Line, I see on their web site their phone no. is 0870 444 8688. I think if you try to drill the bracket 15mm lower, you will be very close to the cross plate, under which the jack fits, and there may not be room for the head of the securing screw. I am talking off the top of my head here, I have not measured anything. The back of the bracket is shaped slightly on way of the holes to stiffen it. I think I would have a word with PL.. Having said all of the foregoing, I am pleased with mine, much better than the old screw scissor jack I used before. Hope this helps. Henry.
