La Manga / Murcia or L'Alqueria / Gandia ....Spain

Can anyone give a recent review of either of these large Spanish sites, especially if you have been there during February?

We stay at Caravaning La Manga for the winter each year although home at present because of a health problem but hope to go in early December, it is a very large site but we love it there and the weather is much better than in the UK over the winter months. Look up www.caravaning.es. You may have a problem if you have not pre booked as the site is very full in January and February, sometimes there is spaces on the rally with the caravaning and camping club.

There @La manga last Jan to late March and again this year Dec to early March. Nice site CCC Rally best location on site. Temp mid 60's can be a cool wind but warm enough without a shirt some day between 11 and 3. If going with CCC you can book overnights at around 250/300 miles a day

Hi.we went to La Manga March this year,Facilities,good,staff good,Pitches for the most part crap !!! you are in square pitches bordered by 10-15 tree's depending on your location you either look directly across Benicassim to Bonterra Park which was excellant.

P.S. heard from a friend in Spain today that the metal covers that you see on a lot of sites ,to be used as a sun shade are to be removed.This is supposedly via a directive from the local goverment department.

No Espania this/next year un less euro goes up.Just drive right through to Slovenia/Croatia when the pound goes further.There last year and had a ball,highly reccomend.
