La Reserve ( Siblu Site)

Thinking of booking a pitch here in the summer.Whats it like for two adults and two girls 15/12,any opinions most grateful.

As no one else has replied, I thought I might offer at least some information. We were there several years back, before it was taken over by Haven/Siblu. We thought it was a good site for teenagers, with good pools, beach and lake access. The showers etc were good,as were the pools, the on-site restaurant and shop adequate. The area has a fair amount to offer - Arcachon, Dune de Pyla, Mimizan etc, with Bordeaux, St Emilion and so on possible as more adult day trips. We certainly considered a return visit when our children were still teenagers, although we probably would not be rushing back there now that they have flown the nest!

I don't know how much it has changed since Haven took over, but we certainly enjoyed our holiday there.

we have been and i can say that my kids loved it,( however the in laws thought it was a bit too fast paced for them) we have been twice now and when i told the kids we were going to France next year they were really excited about going ( until i told them we were going some place different, eldest-whos 13, didnt talk to me for an hour, oh the bliss!lol)

but take into mind that during the summer months its excatly like going to sites here, it wil be busy but the kids will love it. (we never saw the kids unless they wanted feeding, money or to get changed, oh the fond memories its bringing tears to my eyes haha)

Thanks ever so much Chrissie,Dave & Bev, I have managed to book 14 days in August next year at La Reserve and really looking forward to it.Good luck in your search for hols, thoroughly recommend St Jean de Monts in the Vendee any info required let me know.
