Just returned from holiday around the mainland just like to say that i had my doubts about lakeside reviews wernt good online and i thought omg wot have i done.
After 3 days there i have to say that it was one of the best places ive stayed albeit the tourin part wasnt the greatest but it had wot i needed clean toilets helpful staff and hook up.
As for the entertainment staff and facilities they where the best ive seen soo far. Kids had a gr8 time thx to the staff who where brill pools are the cleanest by far, life guards all switched on !( ive worked in a pool for the last 17 years so i know ) lol.
So any1 reading the bad reports on sites try it and see i had a gr8 time and more importantly the kids did too ages 5, 11 & 17.
i understand if any1 thinks differantly becuz when we left there we went to Ty mawr N wales and it was the pits booked 4 days stayed 1 nite it was awful so unclean and poorly run!
Pool was a disgrace i wouldnt let my dog in it and they had the nerve to tell me it was run down (no it wasnt it just needed cleaned fgs)i want my money back but they fobbin me off !
Any way sorry to ramble just give Haven in lake district a go!
