Leaking pipe on Sprite

Hi, just wondered if anyone can offer me any advice. I have a Sprite Quattro with end washroom, it appears that either the hot or cold water pipe has sprung a pinhole leak where it passes either under the shower or under the toilet. Does anyone have a recommended method to attack this? I don't really want to have to remove the locker where the cassette toilet goes. I was wondering if I remove the actual housing around the shower valve if that might be easier even though I might have to replace much more pipework. It is a bit of a shame as the Sprite us 7 years old and has been an excellent van to date, I am wondering if it might be caused by a burr that is visible on the plastic moulding under the toilet, which will be really annoying as it would be a 10 second job to have done this at manufacture. Thanks in advance for any advice.

There is not an easy way to deal with your problem.
You will just have to decide which way would get you the necessary access to the leaking pipe, and as you are not sure which one, you need to see both.

Once you have found the leak, if it is small, simply cut the pipe and fit a straight push fit coupling.

Damian, thanks for the reply, as you point out getting access is the hard bit, the plumbing is dead easy! I am quite prepared to rip out the pipework from one side of the shower right through to the other side of the toilet, I would like to know what the arrangement around the shower valve is, as this will tee off the main run, I assume removing an outside locker frame is a nightmare?

You are correct in thinking that removing a locker frame is a nightmare, it is !!
You would most likely damage it beyond repair.
If you have a free standing toilet such as the C200, it is easier to remove the toilet.
Even with a bench toilet , whilst a bit more difficult, still a better way to get to the pipes.

It might be worth contacting the Swift Owners Club as they may be able to help on - http://www.swift-owners-club.com

Made some progress today, I managed to undo the many screws holding the toilet (much easier once you know where they all are) also needed a screwdriver with a universal joint as a couple were hard to get at. Anyway, toilet is free to move out of the way of the pipes. My thoughts were it was the hot pipe where it passed though the trim on the side of the toilet. If I knew how to upload a photograph , you can clearly see by the "mini fountain" that I was presented with when the water was turned on!. Not sure if any damage will have been done with water leaking over the last few weeks whilst on holiday. I am hoping that now the source of leak will have been dealt with, once everything has dried out, everything should return to normal. Also got a photo of the offending part where there is a burr in the trim which has slowly cut through the pipe. Really annoying as if the person who built it at the factory had taken 20 seconds to file the burr off, this leak would never have happened. Thanks for the replies, if someone can tell me how to put a photo on I will upload some, thanks
