Leaking roof light.

Hi everyoneAfter a lovely holiday with the van in Warwickshire we have found that we now have a leak comming from the roof light. I was wondering whats best to fix this? I have seen some mastic sealing strips and also someone has reccomended IDL99 sealant. Would I be able to just use the sealing strip or use the IDL sealant first then put strip on after, or just use the IDL sealant. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.
