hi just been away for the first time this weekend we have put our ultima 260 awning up which we havent used for the past 18 mths. the weekend consisted of lots of heavy rain causing the awning to leak. the awning leaked right along the seam of the awning bead. is this caused by lack of use ie not used for the last 18 mths. if so can this be reproofed. any advice appreciated thanks shirley

Normally awnings need a good soaking to close up the sewing holes So poss next time up in rain it will be ok

Hi Shirley

Had the same problem with mine - rectified leaking by using a stick of Grangers Fabsil seam sealent approx £5

You can also buy a liquid sealer that comes in a spray bottle. Rather expensive but seems to do the trick. I would think most caravan dealer accessory shops would sell it.
