LED lights

In our Lunar Delta we have long LED strip lights on either side above the front bunks. We are thinking of fitting a strip light across the front so that when you are having your dinner on the pull out table on front you can see what you are eating!
Unfortunately on the Delta to connect it into the main circuit is very complex due to the wiring having its own "space" which would involve some major work to access them.
Is there perhaps a LED strip light on the market that will work off AA type batteries as this seems to be the easiest option and best solution?
Also for the cupboards it would be handy to have a LED light with a remote on off micro switch so when you open the cupboard door, the light comes on and when you shut it, it goes off.

Having just got back from a few days away, I fitted some of these into the wardrobe & into the side of where the cassette slides into last year, they have a self adhesive pad & seem to be quite effective in light output.
The only sort of led battery powerd strip light's seem to be for camping or work, but there are these with there own switch, & you would have to run them from a 12v supply on your van.

You can get packs of 3 round LED battery lights that are intended for cupboards etc for about £5
My dealer has them with the light fittings and they are available from Poundland/Wilkinsons etc
