LED Switched Awning Light

Does anyone know where I can get one of these that is switched on the unit itself? I know about the Labcraft Astro - but that has to have a separate switch.

Its a pity that they have started fitting the awning light switch inside the van and it shows evidence of the don't ever caravan school of design

I fitted a remote operated alarm that put on the timed outside light instead of the keypad one in our Senator and that was very convenient

The Ace already has a remote operated alarm but internal awning light switch

No mod was available to put on the outside light from the alarm so I eneded up with a key ring led torch

I fitted a Keen Electronics alarm to my caravan. It has the option of controlling the awning light from the remote fob (has a seperate button for it). Works great!

CAK Tanks of Kenilworth have 2 pages of LED lights in their catalogue

Some are waterproof and some are switched but I can't see both!

Hello John,

Thanks for info. I telephoned them and they gave me details of page 73 of their catalogue. So much choice, it's a bit of a mine field - and I do do think that there is anything quite bright enough, or waterproof, that would fit the bill. I'm starting to wonder whether I could just replace the bulds with LED's?? ( The old design uses 2 x 10 watt halogens, and if I'm not on EHU I dare not use it!)
