Trying to book a site for next year in the vendee, so many to choose from. Has anyone been to Les Ecureuils? Any comments would be appreciated.

Went to Les Ecuriels about three years ago. Stopped for ten days. Good site, lots to do on site and in the area, nice pool, access to beach a bit difficult (soft sand dunes)typically small pitches but we got a 16 foot caravan and car on "with a little help from neighbours" I would go again. p.s. takeaway wasnt up to much, limited menu, expensive and very ordinary.

We stayed at this site for 14 nights in june/july 2006. We had a fantastic time and would recomend it to anyone. It is a family run site and the owners are very friendly and helpfull. our daughter (age 3 at time) loved the pool area, the lazy river and slides are great. Also it is a nice area with lots to get out and see and do.Its very nice to have only a short walk to the beach. This site is very popular and early booking for high season is esential. You can book direct but i believe they dont take bookings until after christmas. They do have a website but not sure of the address.
