I have just purchased a new lesuire battery weighing 20 kgs. With that kind of weight on one side and also my fridge;cooker;and cutterly racks full to the prim. Also on that side we have our double fixed bed. Surely my van has to be unstable with all that weight on one side. Please let me know what you think.

Could it be a Swift group product?

I had concerns about the battery being at the extreme rear and on the same side as the fridge cooker etc.The full wardrobe does something to balance up but Bailey seem to have a better set up with the battery box in the bottom of the wardrobe over the wheel opposite the cooker etc.Fear not for we have had ours two years with no instability even on long tows to Barcelona

You're right. A big difference in wheel load from one side to another is not exactly conducive to stability. Have the actual wheel loads weighed and if the difference is much more than about 30-40kg, then something should be done about it. Maybe you can find a spot for the battery on the other side or, if you can't find a suitable permanent fix, you'll just have to try to match the weights by appropriate re-distribution of the payload.
