went away last week and on driving up the levellers one sank into the ground any ideas on a remedy to solve this matter on wet ground

This one is easy to answer, I had the same problem, dealers shops are full of different types of base plates that fit dirrectly under the legs, save money cut four pieces of wood 6 inches square by 2 inch thick. job done. finding the wood, that can cause a problem

I think that the problem is with the levelling wedge sinking into the ground not the staedies as I read it

All that you can do is to put a piece of exterior plywood etc under the levellers to increase the area of pressure

Whether its worth carrying such a piece is doubtful as its rarely going to be needed

I have recently got some Fiamma levelling blocks that are about 9in square and fit together like lego

I can't comment yet as to effectiveness regards sinking in as we were on a level pitch when we were away last time !!!
