Hi, can anyone recommend a site within walking distance to a dog friendly beach on the Lincolnshire coast? We dont really want a large site with all the facilities, just a pub close by!
Thanks

Sutton on Sea all the way-camhc club site or the Jasmin caravan and motorhome site adults only next door, or one of the ones on the other side of the road, Cherry Tree. All decent sites though Jasmin v basic-lovely family and v cheap. Minutes to the beach following a public footpath with the tiniest bit of road work and it's far enough south of Sutton to miss the dog barred bit . Sutton on Sea is an unspoiled Victorian seaside town but plenty to do near and around inc Drinsey Nook, Coningsby visitors centre if you like Merlin engines and the sound of Typhoons. We love it and were there last weekend. As for a pub, short walk to the Fat Seagull it but behave yourself there! Or the pubs in SoS!

C&CC site at Mablethorpe is reportedly good - marginally (about 500ft) closer to the beach than the CMC site.

If you want to park and walk your dog on most of the beaches from Sutton on Sea to Skegness you will have to pay for the parking. The beach parks used to be free but over the last couple of years parking charges have been introduced, usually by downloading an app to your phone and paying using that.
If anyone can recommend any free beach parking where dogs can be walked I would be most grateful(y)

OK thanks, cherry tree looks ideal. Not sure my wife would cope with no WC or showers.

Two hours free at Sandilands, just past the Fat Seagul, by the last of the Southern Chalets by Sutton on Sea Golf Club. Very reasonable after that and superbly clean loos-just across the road from the CAMHC site . But you can walk to the beach from there!

We also been to this site but it was 14 years ago we thought it was a beautifully maintained site the facilities were spotless due to been off a main road they might be some traffic noise in the background
