Hi All,

We are planning a trip to Tenby in about 4 weeks time, Freshwater CC site full and Trevayne farm only taking week bookings.

Does anyone know of any nice site's in the area, we dont like places such as Kiln Park etc.

Looking for somewhere with views and EHU, maybe a CL ??

Many Thanks

Ian

Hmm. Do you know something we don't? We are booked into Kiln Park at the end of August. Used up our Tesco vouchers so it's not costing any extra money and we only intend to use it as a base. After a disastrous stay at the Haven site in Burnham last summer we weren't going to stay at Haven again, but as mentioned, it didn't cost any extra cash and we're strapped this year.

When we booked we couldn't find any reviews for the site. But as we have such low expectations following last year, at least we won't be disappointed!!!

Iain, dont be concerned about Kiln Park, its not everyones cup of tea true but i have been there a couple of times and had great holidays, the pitches are a good size and set up so that people cannot walk inbetween vans. (i like that) The fully serviced pitches a great too.

You get the usual problems as with any haven site, occasionally grubby toilets and sticky tables in the bar, but still a good site.

I would make full use of your van facilities and enjoy your break, go into Tenby and have a few beers in the pink pub, cant remember what its called but i have had a few good afternoons and evenings in there.

Enjoy Tenby, its beautiful.

Hi been there slightly sloping nice views. stroll down the lane into Tenby. Basic loos EHU, average pitch size. some tents. Would use again. Signed off main road just before the final drop down into Tenby.

Hope this helps

went to Rowston Caravan site at Whitsun as a cheaper alternative to Kiln Park and would definitely use it again.

So quiet at night despite being very full. Only downside was 20p charge for shower tokens. That is very penny pinching in my opinion.

Little kings, Trevalun. Rowyston, Well Park, Wood Park, try a search on Practical Caravan
Wood Park has refused to allow reviews of it on a couple of web sites. Judge that for yourself (!). Furthermore, I live reasonably locally to it, the owners (being careful what I say here)could perhaps do with a little more of a customer service based attitude...

Hi Folks,

We have just returned from a weeks break at Kiln Park. It was our first weeks long break in our van and I have to say that it was the worst possible site. I have a complaint in with Haven at the moment. Most of the touring pitches flooded due to the lack of storm drains (ie there were NONE!!) Most peoples awnings were flooded and we lost some electrical equipment as the plugs were touching the floor which we did not realise. The showers were filthy, the club house is too small as is the swimming pool. I will not go there again!!!
