Looking for a site recomendation in the Algarve jan/ feb 2011

We move a couple of years back from the midlands to live in rural south west france its loverly in the the summer,but the winter so so quite our plan is to head of to the Portugal perhaps the Algarve for part of January and February .The hope is to find friendly sites it would be nice if their where other uk visiters their it nice to be able to have a chat share experances and perhaps a glass of something allso some where we can investegate the area and take long walks we have a one year old Airedale that is full of bounce.we are very new to carvaning and its been all very posative we are really enjoying it the freedom and the people you meet for the most part have been wonderfull and full of live .well hope some guidence out their all the best ..
 
Hi Alan, We would recommend Touriscampo at Luz, just outside Lagos. The site is well run with very friendly staff. There is plenty to do and see in the area, and quite a lot of brits on site. The site is ideal for a long stay with good reductions on the basic price.
We have stayed at the site for 2 years in the autumn and will be back again next year.
