It's good as far as it goes Lizzie but Mr Wickersham and Haymarket are missing a trick here by not producing a supplement, an internet guide or even a booklet which highlights the obvious and not so obvious pitfalls for novices to look out for when they buy that all important first tourer.
A comprehensive guide on how to spot damp, floor delamination, wrongly advertised tourers (some vendors often try to knock a few years of the true age of a caravan) plus a rundown of the legalities of private vs commercial sales and online auction sites would sell like hot cakes and prove very useful to all buyers of used tourers.
Andrew Jenkinson produced
an excellent guide for the Caravan Tourer website and I often provide the link for newbies.
It would be much better and more authoritative if there was a similar 'Buyers Bible' from Practical Caravan, the information is currently all here on this forum but in dribs and drabs.
