Lose Hill Castleton

Hi Chris

Been 3 times to Losehill. Really enjoy this site. Great for walks and a couple of good pubs within walking distance.

Never stopped at loose hill but have been for a look around must say it is very nice place.

We tried to get in last year at short notice but had no luck so book early'..

Losehill is a lovely site and you will not be dissapointed.

Plenty to do. First Class walking area. Many caves to visit. Speedwell Cavern is good. Hathersage has good walking shops.

I have been to this area many many times and love it.

Hi Chris - Losehill is a grand site and if you get the right pitch you can wake up to the surrounding hills - you can walk from the sight and wend your way to the top of Mam Tor and then circle round to Peverill Castle and back to the site. Make sure you go and you will not regret it.

many thanks for your replies. we do a lot of walking in the peaks etc but are new to caravanning so wondered what lose hill was like. we are booked for 4 days in august so i'm now looking forward to it even more.
