Losing another Club site.

looking for information re new owners of Braithwaite Fold site as the CC Club have not renewed the lease.

I may be completely wrong on this, but I recollect (I think I recollect ) reading that the site is being taken over by the CMC after negotiations with the local authority owners so is not necessarily lost to us.

Perhaps others can add more definite news.

The management is out for tender by the local authority for a period of ten years. April 2020 to March 2030. The CMHC ran it before CCC. With a ten year lease the CMHC may see it as sufficiently long term to tender a bid.

I assume having bought two new sites in the Lake District they think they have enough capacity. The CAMH need it back so hope they manage.

Hope they build a new facilities block. The current one is not really fit for purpose. Strange decision as they have just added 27 new pitches.
