Can anyone tell me if it is "normal" to lose power to items running on electric if the battery has lost it's charge?
We are on a seasonal pitch, and are connected to a 16 amp hook up, the last couple of times we've been the lights run by the battery have been a little dimmer, but also the lights run by the electric. We thought it might have been a problem with the electric supply Anyway yesterday, on arrival the fridge wouldn't work, even though it was switched on to the electric supply, also the water pump was sluggish. The sockets worked but nothing else. To cut a long story slightly shorter we have replaced the battery and all is well. However does the battery losing it's charge always affect everything else or do we have another problem. We have a 2009 Compass Rallye 650. Thanking anyone who can help in advance!
