Lost again

I purchased a new TV for my van when on site at Barnard Castle I set up the automatic search facility but despite many tries it didnt pick up a single station.I was the only person on site with no picture Im lost do you have any ideas.

I assume the set is digital and if so wgat type of aeriel were you using, did you also try tuning in the analouge tuner ?

Jasper its a digitial set but anologue was also scanned the areial is one of the new set up from inside the van ones.

Look at the surrounding houses and see their aerial's direction and also check the polariztion ie horizontal or vertical.
