I know the general advice is not to use pressure washers on caravans, but I have a low bar cordless type which is 6.5 bar on the eco setting and 26 bar on the high setting.

Would that still
do damage to the caravan roof if I used it on there to rinse.

I always used high pressure washers. But with common sense. Just keep the distance. A low pressure washer will work well. Simply do not use it very close up.

Why not just rinse with a hose pipe with a fan nozzle. Then no concerns and if it’s just rinsing the hose works very well.

We have used our pressure washer on the caravan previously with no issues however you need to use common sense and be careful around windows. lockers and doors.

Which one do you have and would you recommend it? Still considering whether to get one as it would make washing our van which is in storage much easier.
A hose pipe wouldn’t work as there is access to a tap but there is not a washing bay to whence I can run a hose.

We used a Karcher and common sense for cleaning our caravan. However in the previous CAMC magazines a portable power washer was being sold which looked like it would be ideal for caravans in storage?

I have a Stanley high pressure washer and a Stanley battery washer to utilise the batteries on my other power tools. It is only just OK around the house and it is quicker to get out than the high pressure washer just to wash the car.

However. If we still had the caravan, the battery washer would have been ideal for use in storage. It could be used with a water barrel.
