Lunar delta RS 2011 porch awning

Hi all, we are interested in a new Lunar Delta RS, the Lunar web site suggests a Isabella minor porch awning for this caravan, but just looking at the side of the caravan (without measuring) it looks as though a Isabella magnum would fit!
Does anyone have this van?.......what do you think of it?.......which awning do you use?

I think you'll find any porch will fit but you need to measure where you want the awning to be and the associated issues of it blocking the windows etc. Tape measures out time I think.

We have the Ventura Marlin porch awning on our Lunar EW and one part goes over a window, but becasue of the design of the awning even in high winds, you will not seen that awning cushion move on the window.

I've got a Delta RS but 2010 model and I think the window spacing is slightly different. Best advice I have is to find one in a dealers and measure the windows and the space between them and then draw a diagram. Beware that many awnings are longer at the front than they are at the back against the caravan. I would not be happy about having an awning ending where there is a window as the acrylic windows scratch very easily. If you use these on a regular basis you will need to measure them up as well.

I am not a lover of the Magnum or Minor as I simply don't like the style and prefer the Snowboy or the Universal styles especially for bad weather and all year round use.

Hi Graham, thank you for the advice, can i ask, are you pleased with your delta?
We are planning on ordering a 2012 model for october delivery, have you had any problems or issues with yours.....what do you think to the Lunar build quality?
