I second Kockelscheuer - stayed there twice to visit the city and will be overnighting there week after next. Bus stops to and from the city about a ten minute walk from the site. Small shop on site carries a good variety, snack bar has a limited menu but is handy if you have been traveling all day - it also has beer and wine available as does the ahop. Nearby sports centre has a restaurant. If you want to do the Royal Palace tour book days ahead for the english language one - our first trip they were fully booked; the second time the place was closed for decorating ! A rack in reception has lots of brochures etc. with details of places to visit. Discount given to C.C.I. card holders for stays of more than a few days ( not sure how many ). Hope you enjoy it.
