mains water adapter

Hello can anyone tell me what parts i need to make a water adapter and where to get the parts (the float valve type) or will it be more cost effective to buy the ready made version

This is copied from a posting on UKCS

, bought the cap from a caravan shop , cut a hole in it and fitted the valve . Note my WaterHog is a 50 ltr and the cap screws into the side fill hole under the flap.

The "valve" is a "Torbreck" and available from B & Q etc
