Making up beds, up or down

Hi Guys,

I have been wondering for some time the correct way to make up the beds in a caravan.

I have seen some photos where the cushions are placed face up, I have also seen pictures where the cushions are turned upside down, Which is the normal way to do this? And which way is the most comfy?

Whether you turn the cushions over, or not, is up to you - some people do one thing, some do the other. If your caravan cushions have knee rolls, then turn these to the outside, so that they become a foot rest and a headrest and the flatter part of the cushion becomes the bed, with the back cushions in the middle. We tried the cushions both face up and face down, and they were blooming uncomfortable whichever way they were positioned, with gaps or ridges just where you didn't want them. I suppose that's the reasons that lots of people also use a mattress topper on top of the cushions.

The most comfortable way of all is to get a fixed bed!
