A couple of weeks ago we set off on our hols to bavaria via Dunkirk and Norfolk line.We had an early sailing to keep the costs down,we had heard of a designated area for overnighting for caravans and motorhomes and thought we would give it a try.The area was very good overlooking the beach,parking was on either side of the road and you really felt quite safe,apart from units arriving late and leaving early we were undisturbed.They were at least 30 units there so at no time did we feel isolated.When we moved of at 0445 there were about 10 units left,and we were only 5 mins from the port.We will be using Marine drive again.
