Can someone tell me what exactly this function is supposed to do? as it doesn't seem to do anything at all.

I have just found out what it does !!!!!!!!

OK,,,,,,,,,,,when you go to a topic which has a red "Updated" at the end of it and click on that thread, then go back to tthe forum list, click on mark all topics read, it simply removes the red "Updated" bit from your list of threads for that topic.

Now was that worth doing??????????????/ I dunno

Well that is a truly useful feature to have on the forum, I wonder how many hours were wasted on developing that.
Never mind It gives them something to do.
