mark on roof

hi new to this site. i have bought 2001 coachman pastihie 520. like the van. other day went to look on roof to see if it needed a clean as i have the caravan sited. found a mark where the ariel once was. it has a ariel put some one has took the old ariel of to put a better ariel on. which has left a mark. it looks like it it filled with sealent. i have spoken to the caravan service centre and sent them a piture of it. they have said it should be ok. it is really cosmetic i think and hope. has any one had something like this. and i so could any one tell me how i could cover the mark over. as it does look rougth.

I wouldnt worry too much about it, i rememeber watching an instructional video on the caravan channel showing you how to remove a status aerial and how to fit a directional telescopic one in its place, their solution was also to fill the holes with mastic sealant.

i would perhaps as a precaution occasionally run a damp tester over it internally for piece of mind but i cannot think of a better thing to seal it with, the last thing you want up there is normal caravan non setting sealant.

cosmetically you cant see it so if you can turn a blind eye to it i would do that.
