We own a Lunar solaris with a nearside fixed bed, the bed is really comfortable apart from my husband is not keen on the split mattress. He feels he is rolling into the centre.

Does anyone know if we would be able to purchase a nearside mattress without the split, and if so where can I purchase one from?

Thanks

You may find that the bed dips in the middle, our's did, I proped the centre under the bed with a piece of wood.

Try it, cheaper than a new mattress.

We had just that problem with the Ace Jubilee Statesman and I claimed under warranty for it sagging

The company used by Swift were very helpful and at no extra charge removed the "fold" and made it one piece

They arranged collection and return delivery at no cost to us

Leisure Furnishings Ltd 0115 9463666

They now deal direct with customers and advertise that they are the leading suppliers to the caravan industry

It would be worth having a chat with Elaine Dainty

This was much better and still allowed access under the bed.

You could visit a local foam/sponge suplier and get a mattress cut to size as we have done for our bed ar home.

We also have a waffle type mattress topper on both the van and and home beds.

Jacqui,

Tockfield in Shirland, Derbyshire will will make you a reflex foam filled mattress to the exact shape of your bed. You can have whatever thickness suits you and whatever firmness you prefer. They give a 7 year guarantee, excellent service. We have just had the sprung insides removed from the front bunking on our new Swift Conqueror and rep

laced with Reflex 500 foam. We used to have 400 in previous caravans but have put on weight!

If for instance you are say 10 stone and say your husband is 15 stone you can have differant firmness on each side of the bed, or different if one prefers soft and one firmer.

I am not connected in any way with the company.

Hamer
