mattress toppers memory foam

Hi

Has anyone purchased a Mattress topper made of memory foam?

and if so what do you think of it, and where did you purchase if from.

thanks Chris

People will get fed up with me as I always reply to this question! However, yes I bought a memory foam topper and it made a BIG differrence in the comfort of the bed. I bought a Raskelf 2" - the 1" I feel would not be thick enough for a hard bed - which rolls up easily and stores under the bed during the day. They are not the cheapest so I cannot comment on cheaper ones, but I would recommend the raskelf. I then went on to purchase the Duvalay which is a topper combined with a duvet, and this is brilliant. Because they are attached, you cannot 'lose' your duvet during the night, so no draughts.

Thanks for that, i have been looking at the same one today, but could not make up my mind.

Cheers

From experience I think its best to go for the best you can afford. I suspect the Raskelf one is better than the 2 incher we bought off a guy on Ebay. No problems with the service but I dont think the foam was very dense and it doesn't support the body as well. Definitely 2 inches as the one inch probably makes very little differance. I have subsequently bought a feather bed topper and now sleep as comfy as can be

used our 1.5" duvalays for the first time at the weekend. My wife weighs 7 stone and I weigh 17 stone but we both found them to be extremely comortable. It may be a lot of money but well worth it for the level of comfort.

Recently bought two toppers from Raskelf. Perfect answer to a perfect nights slepp. Used on recent months trip to France No problems at all. rolled up and stored very easily. I made 4 covers out of redundant single bed sheets using a pillow type fastening saves money on buying made to measure sheets. This also meant that I did not have to resort to washing large sheets during the trip.

Hi

The Caravan Club had a special offer earlier this year. We purchased one at half the price. It has done the job very well.

I have been to shows and seen Raskelf, and see no real difference in quality.

Cheers
