put them in a bowl with a spoon of the powder for sterilising the water system.

We got the melamine cups in a set when setting up with our first caravan but soon replaced them with pot ones because we don't think tea or coffee tastes half as nice in melamine and ended up throwing them away - ahh, much better!!! Just our opinion - I know it's not everyones cuppa!!!!!! (excuse the pun!!)

Sir Roger, I find that it works much better if you go to the pub instead of shopping.Stay there long enough and you don't care what the cups look like when you get back!

Ah Emeerson old chappy fellow nice of you to come in here .

I understand what you are saying I was thinking at the time swmbo would only let me down the pub until after the shopping.

Really tho we dont use the melamine cups for tea but I do use the plates just to keep the weight down.

We use melmine cos one of us keeps forgetting to lock the door on the crockery cupboard, and I got a bit fed up of picking broken plates off the floor at the end of every trip. That same person still forgets to lock the door, but the plates don't break now!

You can also use sterilising fluid/tablets used for baby's bottles. Pop your teaspoons in and they will get cleaned at the same time. Helen
