LB has just told me he agrees with one of my posts !!! I must be mellowing ( not meow ing )

Received a letter from HMG asking me to confirm my NI number so they can send me £100 for heating allowance. Yipee!! Road tax up a £100, so they send me a £100, really what kind of madness is this ??

Hubby will reach 60 on the 14th Sept next year

and I will reach 60 on the 13th September in fact next week, and I was told I would get the heating allowance in November of this year.

You should qualify for a Winter Fuel Payment for the winter of 2007/08 if during the qualifying week of 17-23 September 2007, you are:

aged 60 or over and

normally living in Great Britain or Northern Ireland
