Member names

I've just noticed another member named Jim.

I have no idea who was on first (I expect he was as I've only been here just over a month).

Does the forum software not automatically stop me from pinching somebody elses name?

I may re register as Parksy (moderator) LOL

Well you wouldn't be the first to do that Jim and I doubt if you'll be the last lol.

Unfortunately the system is about as watertight as the average collander so duplicate names can and do get used.

The best thing to do is to add another initial to your first name to distinguish your posts from others bearing the same username
