There is a posting in Equipment and accessories titled "A must - my Awning Handyman Support" which seems to be blatantly advertising a product devised and marketed by the poster. Surely this contravenes article 6 of Forum etiquette?

We had missed that one which was indeed in breach of forum etiquette and I've now removed the post.

The trouble with these posts which contain adverts is that if they were allowed to remain the forum would be overrun with them in no time, they are always considered to be spam and are deleted.

Forum members can help to keep the postings on this forum advert free by bringing any that we may have missed to our attention as Derrick has done, nobody wants to plough through a load of adverts to find a thread.
